James S. Han, CEO/Managing Attorney

James focuses his practice in civil litigation and counsels clients in the areas of general liability, personal injury, public entity representation, construction defect, real property, and other related matters. He delivers value, quality work product, and aggressive representation for his clients in achieving the best possible outcomes in the most cost-effective way.  This value focused approach to resolving legal matters remains the hallmark of his practice.

Throughout his legal career, James worked as an insurance defense attorney in general liability, personal injury, public entity, and construction defect matters.

In general liability and personal injury matters, he represents clients in motor vehicle accidents (personal and commercial), landlord tenant issues (commercial and residential), mold injury claims, and premises liability.

In defense of public entities, James represents cities, school districts, and public agencies involving real property, personal injury, and other general liability matters.

In construction defect litigation, James represents developers, general contractors, subcontractors, and material suppliers involving custom and tract homes, commercial projects, multi-residential, and mixed use developments.

He practices in state and federal courts both in the prosecution and defense of matters. He also advises and counsels his clients in contract interpretation and drafting, risk management, and protection of legal rights.

James was admitted in 2001 to practice in California. He earned a B.A. in Political Science and a Minor in Philosophy from the California State University at Fullerton. He was recognized for his academic achievements during law school where he received honors for his written brief in Appellate Advocacy and was invited to participate as an instructor in the Advocacy Program. He graduated with honors in his undergraduate studies. He is also admitted in the  Central and Eastern District Courts of California.
